We indeed discussed the Basse books and I think they are worth buying, however they seem to raise some questions. There has been something here on the forum, and I get signals from the French as well...
If you start with no literature at all, then perhaps a good idea would be to try to get those articles by Kowalski in Fossilien, as well as his Eifel-Trilobiten article in Der Aufschluss in 1990. The titles are given below.
I saw you had quite a few Otarioninae, there is the classic Erben article about them as well as Kowalski's article, but bear in mind that these names have changed and that a subgenus Cyphaspis was created which is now a genus. So Otarion ceratopthalmum for instance, has become Cyphaspis ceratopthalma (note the -um has become -a because of change of gender of the word!).

: Weil ich meine "alte" Eifel Trilobiten Sammlung gerne richtig determinieren möchte bin ich auf der Suche nach gute Literatur.
: Allart hat mich auf die beide Bücher von M. Basse aufmerksam gemacht. Sind diese Bücher gut geeignet vor determinierungs arbeiten? Gibt es vieleicht noch andere empfahlenswirte Bücher?
