: Hello Andreas,
: Absolutely incredible! In the past I have had contact with Basse and one of my questions was about long genal spines in Tropidocoryphe but he never really answered to that, except for that they are indicative for Astycoryphe. I have a complete Tropidocoryphe as well, it is from the Upper Couvinian of Belgium and it has long genal spines according to Basse suggesting Astycoryphe. However, it does have the characteristic 10 segments, length ceph = length thorax, etc., so it is not an Astycoryphe. I had just never seen one with longer genal spines than in the drawings in the Treatise and Kowalski's Fossilien article besides my specimen, and now yours :-)
